Adnerds podcast is since this weekend on iTunes and they are already nr1 within the ‘Business’ category. They are listed between famous names like Insead, Harvard Business Publishing, BusinessWeek, McKinsey on Finance… I have been listening a lot to marketing podcasts in the past, maybe time to start again now we have a successful Belgian one :-)

Art2blog is going on holidays for 1 week to Bodrum. We’ll be back on October 4th. In mean time don’t stop reading our favourite colleagues. If you still have some holidays planned, check out Fasten Seatbelts where you can find the “Do’s and Don’ts” of the country you’re visiting.
We will certainly remember that:

The last few days it has been quiet…well…now you know why. I moved our blog to my own hosting.http://www.art2blog.be is the place to be now…I’ll make some more changes the coming days on the design but all credits go to Design Disease which created this great 3 column wordpress theme. Furthermore you don’t have to change your rss feed address, that stayed the same (http://feeds.feedburner.com/art2blog)!
Hope you enjoy…

Received several mails from contacts to join their social network on the Quechup site. Ignore these! Don’t know what the final plan is, but once you register the engine behind the site proposes to import online contacts from your webmail account like Hotmail, Gmail, … once imported all these get a mail from you inviting to join Quechup again. Pure spam with hopefully no other harmful intentions (viruses?) behind.

Back in business like Kristof said. What a relaxing holiday, finally I had the time to listen to the tons of podcasts on my iPod which are on there since a while :-). While doing that I came by some very good ones, one I liked a lot was 360view; very interesting subjects and speakers and a good way of tackling the subject. Another one I love a lot is the PhotoshopTV videocast. The way it’s put togheter is just awsome! Good tutorials, tips and tricks and more. If your a photographer or designer, beginner or expert…you can’t miss it! I learned some really cool tricks for my holiday pics…
On the way back home we were on the flight with a BV (bekende vlaming), Ellen Dufour (first Big Brother winner) who was in Thailand for the P-Magazine bikini special. We actually had a chat with her in the airport and she’s a pretty straightforward friendly girl…not like most other Belgian models. A pitty we didn’t know where the photo shoots took place ;-)
Same as Kristof I have tons of RSS feeds to catch up with, one I like a lot is the The Big Kiss record. They’re gonna try to break the world record “the most people kissing at the same time”. Of course to do that you need a lot of people together at the same time and they’ve found just the place (and time) Rock Werchter, Belgium’s biggest music festival.

I was at a breakfast seminar this morning on RSS & Marketing, which was great by the way. At the same time I found another nice post from RobinGood on Podcasting Services which could be helpful for people who visited this seminar or are thinking to start podcasting. It’s a series of tools which can help you record, host, tweak,… podcasts. Here a quick view:

As lot’s of ex-colleagues and friends started their own business lately I thought this post would be of interest for them!
The Small Business Administration offers a selection of podcasts designed to teach you the basics to start a successful own business.
The site currently hosts nine podcasts, with more planned for the future. Current topics include “Check List for Starting a Business,” “Selecting a Business That Fits” and “Financing a Small Business.” If you’d rather read than listen, the site also offers Word-formatted transcripts of the podcasts. However you choose to absorb the info, it’s decidedly worthwhile stuff for the budding entrepreneur.

Want to learn some new languages in 2007? iTunes has a whole section of podcasts devoted to language.
To get there, just head to the iTunes Music Store, then go to Podcast -> Education -> Language Courses. You can get started perfecting your Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or Italian (to name some of the most popular) in no time, and best of all, they’re mostly all free.
