Old news maybe but I am surprised to see more and more people on Facebook. Even old school mates start to connect which I didn’t hear the past 9 years. It seems that the dutch version had his effect! More than 1 million belgian users, compared to 200.000 last year…’not bad Mark’ I would say :-) Netlog finally has a competitor in belgium now which stays nr1 with more then 2 million active users. The nr2, Myspace is feeling the breath of Facebook. I created our nieuwsblad.be product page a few days ago and our Sportwereld page on Netlog is there since a while now.

What if Facebook was an application of the United States’ security services to monitor and get to know all of us. Our interests, our character, our friends, our friends’ friends, our hobbies, movies we like and dislike, books we like an dislike, … Feed all of this info into their datamining and monitoring systems and next time you try to enter the USA … you might be flagged as potential terrorist for reading the wrong books and liking the wrong people!
